We respectfully encourage all individuals who believe that the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita can foster peace and harmony among people of various beliefs to view this video and contribute to our mission. Additionally, we ask those active on social media to download and share the video on their profiles or across different platforms to aid in promoting the Gita University Project. Your support will significantly enhance the progress of the Mission 5 Billion Project.
The Gita University, envisioned to cover an area of 300 acres, is estimated to require an investment of 2000 crores. This ambitious initiative can be realized if 50 lakh compassionate individuals from the 100 crore Hindu population contribute an average of Rs. 4000/-. This approach mirrors the generosity of over 1.2 crore donors who collectively contributed more than 4000 crores to construct the Ayodhya temple. Consequently, we urge every financially capable Hindu to come forward and assist in bringing this vision to fruition.
Current Status: We are currently engaged in discussions with officials from the Telangana government regarding allocating 300 acres of endowment land, specifically with the Honorable Minister for the Endowment Department, Smt. Konda Surekha garu.
A comprehensive presentation was delivered on July 26, 2024. Additionally, we have reached out to all state cabinet ministers to garner their support for the project, which we hope to present to the cabinet in the near future. We are also awaiting a meeting with the Honorable Chief Minister. We express our profound disappointment with the Honorable Endowment Minister and her team for their lack of progress over the past three months.
Consequently, we met with the Honorable Chief Minister Pujya Shri Adityanath Yogi ji on October 16, 2024, where we provided a detailed briefing on the situation and requested 300 acres of land within a 50 km radius of Agra, aimed at facilitating an international tourist program on Karma Yoga at Gita University. A formal proposal will be submitted to the Uttar Pradesh State Government in the first week of November 2024.
We are actively pursuing this matter with the Telangana State Government. Should we encounter obstacles, we will explore the possibility of acquiring land from private owners and seek assistance from the state governments of Uttar Pradesh, Goa, and Maharashtra to secure appropriate land.
Additionally, we are reaching out to 1000 selected high-net-worth individuals, hoping that 250 generous contributors will come forward to donate eight crores each. Initially, we will request one crore from them, which will be utilized to purchase the necessary land if the government delays. The remaining seven crores may be contributed on the day of the Bhumi puja. We are contacting high-net-worth individuals and seek their generous support.
